Our Process
Pre-Construction
At our initial meeting, you’ll sit down with our home renovation experts and discuss the scope of the project, including timeline and budget. We’ll carefully listen to your home improvement desires and offer recommendations, or alternatives if necessary, based on our experience.
We do require a $50 estimate retainer which guarantees you a general estimate and will be credited back to you if you feel we are a good match for your project. This will ensure that we provide a thorough and accurate budget estimate in a timely manner.
Here at Canyon Creek Design Build, we’ll help you prioritize your renovation. Our goal is to ensure your product selection and scope of work fit within your budget. We have the knowledge and experience to implement your vision, and by hard work and dedication, transform it into reality.
Interior Design Program
What sets Canyon Creek Design Build apart? In the interior design world, you can easily pay $100 an hour for a junior designer or $500 an hour for an award-winning top designer. Canyon Creek Design Build believes teamwork makes the dream work. That is why we created our affordable Design Program to ensure you get top quality experience, that sets us apart from most construction companies. Our in-house designers Danielle Wilkerson and Clint Tomlinson will work closely with you to create your vision board. Additionally, we will manage all product selections navigating you to stay within budget without jeopardizing design. You have unlimited emails and weekly phone conferences to go over any concerns or change orders. We will work with our talented craftsman to ensure layout and functionality matches the design and scope of work. You have access to our designer for the entire project, all for just $1,000 per area.
Project Timeline
After completing the perfect design for your remodel project and finalizing the materials selection details, we will provide you with a tentative construction schedule with timelines and scope of work to be completed, as well as a payment schedule. On a side note, the schedule will always fluctuate, so we make sure that your project manager stays in communication with you with any changes.
Construction
Construction can be messy, but we will make every effort to keep the project clean and tidy. Our cleaning process and safety protocols have been put in place to keep your home cleaner and family healthier. During the actual construction of your project, Canyon Creek Design Build will be careful to keep your project on schedule and on budget. Disruptions due to construction will be kept to a minimum as much as possible. We will try to keep any delays to the bare minimum, if product or labor shortages occur, we will keep you abreast of any issues that would affect your project. Prior to completion we will do a thorough walk-through and make a detailed punch list to ensure all items have been completed.
Post-Construction
After completion of your remodel project, with your assistance we will do a thorough walk-through and complete an additional punch list of any outstanding items to ensure you are fully satisfied with the outcome. Our project is not complete until you are 100% satisfied with your remodel. We are always a phone call away if anything arises. We always offer One Year craftsmanship and materials warranty (supplied by contractor) 2 Year for the mechanical delivery systems, 10 years for structural soundness and 10 years for safe habitability.
